WIP of Marina Seadrift. Property of Disneyfan01. I'll probably color this later on, but for now I'm happy with how the lineart turned out.
Call this....a belated B-day gift. And an attempt to practice more of my anatomy, since I am so desperately out of practice. Marina Seadrift (c) Andrea Avrett reference pic @ [link] Comments are appreciated as always |

Some creative crits: Her head is a tad small for her body. The leg that's coming from under her skirt (Our right, her left) seems a little chunky, if she's meant to be musculr, you may want to tone it down a bit and simply slim out her legs a little bit.
This is gonna look good when coloured.
Fighting in high heels though? She's either one tough cookie or she's got balance to spare

Not one to truly take a look at people's feet in an animation...
As far as I remember, as well, in those anime's, the girls never actually did REAL fighting, they just threw around some bubbles and fire and ran a bunch, but no real sword fighting.
A truly insane task would be to do boxing while in high heels... I don't think that can be done at all.
Still, if it's comics/anime, you kinda have to leave your theories of relativity and gravity and realism on the couch. Keep on drawin', man.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, people at Encyclopedia Dramatica may look like idiots and talk like idiots...but don't let that fool you. They REALLY ARE IDIOTS!"- paraphrasing Groucho Marx from "Duck Soup".
